CanAIRead.me is an independent diagnostic tool. This page describes, in plain terms, what happens to the information you provide.

Website URLs you scan

When you enter a URL, we use it to run the checks described in our methodology. The scan runs on our servers against public pages and may be cached for up to 24 hours to reduce repeated requests to the same website. The hostname and scan time may be retained in a short recent-scans list and displayed publicly; do not submit private or confidential addresses. For product reliability and attribution, we may also retain the originating page, referrer and campaign parameters, scan outcome, failure category and processing time. We do not retain the fetched page body in this event record.

Email addresses

If you request a full emailed report, we use your email address to create and send the report, retain the associated lead context, and send product updates where permitted. Report delivery uses Resend. We do not sell email addresses. You can unsubscribe from product email at any time.

Analytics

We use DataFast to understand visits and product actions such as starting or completing a scan. When you request a report, the submitted email and scanned website may be attached to the same analytics visitor profile so we can understand the journey from scan to report. Service providers process data on our behalf to operate the product, deliver reports and measure usage.
